My name is Jon Hunt. I’m a follower of Jesus, a husband to Chloe, and a father to one daughter. I work as a Christian counselor and a counselor in a psychiatric hospital. I write about life with God to make sense of the pain and beauty of the world.

Why The Evergreen Heart?

Psalm 1 says that the whoever meditates on God’s instruction day and night will be

“like a tree, planted by streams of water,
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.”

That’s what The Evergreen Heart is about. It’s a place to meditate on a hope that never withers. It’s a place to become evergreen.
